Epik High's Mithra Jin officially finished his mandatory military service and was discharged today. On May 14th, Mithra Jin was released at the Ministry of Defense in Yongsan, Seoul and was greeted by Epik High members Tablo and Tukutz. Despite the slight rain, a number of their loyal fans were also present to welcome him.
Mithra Jin started his military training in August of 2010 and originally served as a rifle soldier. Eventually, he was transferred to the Defense Media Agency and met senior soldiers such as Lee Junki, Andy, and many others.
Meanwhile, fans and the press are now asking if Epik High will reunite and release an album now that Mithra Jin finished his military service. DJ Tukutz and Mithra Jin are currently not signed with any entertainment agency after their contract with Woollim Entertainment ended while Tablo is currently signed under YG Entertainment. No definite plans are confirmed.
