Main trailer to "'I AM.: SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden" released
It seems like forever ago that SMTOWN held their first New York concert at Madison Square Garden last year. However, fans can look forward to experiencing the concert once again with the special SMTOWN movie coming up.
"I AM" is a movie that will include the live performances held by SM artists at the Madison Square Garden last October. It will also have interviews by the artists and behind-the-scenes footage.
Taking care of distribution is CJ Entertainment, and both CJ Entertainment and SM Entertainment have co-produced the film. "I AM" is directed by Choi Shinsung.
Artists who participated in the New York concert last year include Kangta, BoA, TVXQ (Yunho and Changmin), Super Junior (Leeteuk, Yesung, Sungmin, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun), Girls' Generation (Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun, Tiffany), SHINee (Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Taemin, Minho), and f(x) (Victoria, Amber, Luna, Sulli, Krystal).
The movie is set to be released this May.

VIVID releases "I Got You" MV
MY OVERALL IMPRESSION:
Some parts of this song didn't match this song by the sounds of it. Like the chorus seemed to be a little more pop-sy and bubbly for the song.
The video to me didn't match those parts because if I were to watch this song without the sound on it seemes like a sexy type song.
But anyway, the song didn't match the sound of the song at all, but I am not saying that they are bad. I'll just have to watch them in the future to see what they come out with.
My favorite outfit was the one with the splarkly silver shorts and the white tops, that was really cute to me. :)

Shinwha release "Venus" MV
Surprisingly, out of my 11 years of listening to K-pop, I have never listened to a song by Shinwha, but since I heard about their comeback this year I decided to wait until they release this MV to decide whether or not I would look into their past stuff.
MY THOUGHTS:
Not gonna lie, for some older guys some of them are pretty hot.
Ok the molesting while dancing made me think of "Troublemaker" and that was cringe worthy when seen live. This MV cost 200 million won to make and it looks freaking amazing considering. I really wished that I understood the story that was in the MV, I feel like it would make my experience even better.
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
I think I have fallen in love. I hope they don't go away after they have made this comeback. I would seriously cry blood. (haha get it the concept of their comeback is vampires and in some stories about vampires, they cry blood).

Lady Jane and Simon D release "6:30" teaser MV
I would find it so hilarious if they release the MV 6:30pm Korean time, that would be so cool. Or I may be the only person who think that way but it would be cool because the song is named "6:30".
From what I heard it sounds like its going to be a ballad, which is good because since they are an actual couple then I think that it would be more powerful and have more meaning then what you would get when you have two people who are just friends or don't normally associate with one another.

Dia releases "Speed Dial no.1" MV
I got her mini-album before I even saw the MV and knew who she was, she just looked like she would be singing a ballad. I have yet to watch the MV, but the song is really good, and it made me a fan.

I'm not missing
I haven't forgotten about this blog, I got caught up with mid-terms and a presentation that I have to present tomorrow morning. I don't know who came up with the idea to have mid-term tests the week after spring break.
Just so you know, I wasn't just neglecting the blog, but I have no clue what has been going on in the K-pop world since last week. But rest assured, I should have all my assignments and tests done by Saturday so I should be updating that afternoon and all of Sunday to catch up and I will take a break on Monday and I should be back on my regular schedule on Tuesday. So if you want to get my updates in full you can either subscribe to my blog by email or wait until Monday to explore the new updates.
Thank you guys for sticking with me for these 4 months, it really means a lot to me. :)

Drama: "Love Rain" teaser
Upcoming KBS‘ drama series ‘Love Rain‘ recently released a new, longer teaser that features actor Jang Geun Suk and Girls’ Generation member Yoona.

2BiC reveals MV teaser
Earlier this month, Nex Entertainment revealed the first teaser picture for their upcoming new duo 2BiC. The teaser picture symbolized that both members were born to be singers.
Today, however, a teaser for the duo's debut music video was revealed on YouTube.
2BiC, which initially means "2 be continued", was put together by composter Jo Youngsoo. He is also responsible for many different hits such as "Lalala" and "Arirang", and was the first one to reveal that he would be debuting the group, adding that he personally trained them to become a second SG Wannabe.
2BiC consists of members Jihwan and Junhyung, and is set to reveal its debut single on March 14th.

My Thoughts:
I hope that this is a ballad.
I really think that these Korean companies should invest in putting subtitles in their MV's expecially if you know there will be speech, that is the main reason as to why I get confused during a MV.
I really want a music box, that plays an instrumental to a kpop song. MY SEARCH BEGINS THIS SUMMER.
I don't understand why I don't listen to 2AM, it could be becasue I always get 2AM and 2PM confused....like I seriously thought that Jo Kwon was in 2PM. I should really do my research, but at least by actually watching MV's I discover new groups, like right now. :)

This was really cute. And that piano music box is really cute, I would seriously buy that in a heartbeat.

Back on November of last year, SM Entertainment has announced to produce a movie documenting the performances and daily lives of its artist at the previous "SMTOWN Live in New York" held at Madison Square Garden. The biographical movie, titled as "I AM", will be released in the first half of 2012.

Seungri dropped out of college???
Big Bang's Seungri has decided to drop out of his college, Chungang University.
According to YG Entertainment on March 8, "Seungri attended Chungang University up until last year and dropped out. He was unable to fully carry on his studies due to his busy schedules."
"He received a lot of academic warnings because he wasn't performing up to standards of the university since he was busy with appearances with the other members of Big Bang. It seems that he thought leaving school was the best choice," the agency added.

My Up and Coming Spring Break Adventure......not really
So tomorrow at 5pm my spring break officially starts. I say 5pm because my campus is "kicking" everyone off campus at that time. I will be leaving campus around 4 or 4:30 because my Corrections teacher doesn't want to cancel class, but I am hoping that she lets us out early. ^**Really Hopeful**^.
So just so you guys know I will be updating between 11am until 2pm and then I am on a fantastical 4 hour k-pop and coffe induced, hunger filled road trip, this road trip is similar to my Thanksgiving and Christmas drive except its a different time period and it takes place at night. With it being lent and everything, k-pop, coffee and my need for the fish my mom is cooking is what is compelling me to make this journey home.
While many people are on their way to sunny beaches with their friends, I will be home and talking and meeting with my old boss in hopes of securing a summer job.
Also,
As many of you have noticed I have been posting on the MV posts that I am going to be putting my thoughts/reactions up on Saturday, that's because I will be at home and won't have to worry about midterms and people bothering me while I am trying to watch the MV.
For those of you who are getting ready for Spring Break, have fun and don't do anything to dangerous and for those of you who don't get Spring Breaks, good luck with your studies and good luck with your jobs.

Song Hye Kyo & John Park release "Switch"
My Thoughts:
Awww I miss Song Hye Kyo especially in Full House, I really wish that her and Rain did Full House 2 because the other actors look like they are going to ruin it.
Song Hye Kyo has some really beautiful hair.
I really wish someone would go out and buy me some ice cream.
I'm guessing that Laneige is some type of skin care product.

THis song didn't reallt catch my attention as quickly as "What is Love"....as you know, I love my ballads.
They have some interesting clothing selections.
That pocket thing they do is freaking hilarious to me. 2:36 guy looked like a creeper to the te extreme like he's outside my window type of creep. The Chinese version sounds completely different and the EXO-M members was in the Korean version because the creeper guy is in EXO-M. How come EXO-K got the better outfits, at least in my opinion? I seriously think they need to keep Kai strictly in the EXO-K MV's, we don't want China to get a Kai overdose like eveveryone else.

Fat Cat releases "Like a Dream" MV
My Thoughts:
Fat Cat really isn't my cup of tea but I will admit that she is really interesting.
I really like her jackets, the blue and redish one.
I gues her concept for right now is really cutsey, I hope that it doesn't turn into Wonder Girls and their forever Retro concept that even now they still use even though they said it was a different concept but to me the outfits and the beat of "Be My Baby" seemed kind of retro to me.

It was too cusey too me, the MV was but the song is really good.

EXO-M & EXO-K to release single "History"

My thoughts:
Its about time because I am tired of all these freaking teasers, they are starting to lose me as a potential EXO-tic and THEY HAVEN'T EVEN DEBUTED YET. I mean if they didn't do all of the teasers and did what every other group did when they go to debut, I would be a very avid fan right now. But as of this moment, I see potential that I will become an avid fan if they debut sometime soon.
SM Entertainment's latest idol groups EXO-K and EXO-M will be releasing their second prologue single "History".
According to SM Entertainment on March 7th, the new track will be released in both Korean and Chinese, and the music video will be released on March 8. The agency also revealed that the respective teams’ member formation will be unveiled through the music video as well.
Following up to their ballad number "What is Love", the new track "History" is said to be a powerful pop number with a high-energy performance planned to compliment its charismatic musical color.
My thoughts:

Nine Muses release "Ticket" MV
Star Empire stated, "We took great pains when trying to materialize the concept 'ticket'. We tried different approaches because we were curious as to what would happen if we mixed the various feels of 'ticket' with the Nine Muses colors. We will continue to showcase the various appeals of Nine Muses through the theme 'ticket'".
My Thoughts:
The guy in the MV is kind of cute. I don't think the song matches the look of the MV. The way the MV looks it seems like this should be a slow song. But I like the outfits, especially the pink and brown ones but not so much the boots. It kind of reminds me of the outfit SNSD wore in "Genie".
I don't understand why they are called Nine Muses when there are eight of them, maybe one of the members left.
The outfits that have the yellow stripes on them remind me of "Mr. Taxi", weird I'm not saying that they are copying SNSD I'm just saying that the outfits are similiar.
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
This is a really catchy song, and I would listen to it again.
Lee Taekwon releases "Falling In Love" MV
Lee Tae Kwon was the runner up for first season of MBC's "Birth of a Great Star". We all know that since then and until his debut that he has been training hard for his debut.
The song was composer and written by his mentor on the show, Kim Tae Won, who was in the group Boohwal.
My Thoughts:
My first time hearing him and he sounds AMAZING.
The beginning reminds me of something that I would see in an old time MV in like the 90s.
I like how the video is in black in white, you don't really see that much in MVs it's all about color, color and more, color.
I would really recommend you guys listen to his other music, and get his mini-album when it comes out.

My Thoughts:
Well I don't listen to J-pop that much but I do love 2NE1. I really love their outfits and I want Minzy's hat at the beginning.
Park Bom has the smallest legs that I have ever seen.
Out of everone in the group I tink CL has the best hair.
Park Bom to me is like the live Korean version of the Barbie, coming from me that is a compliment.
I liked the glow in the dark clothes they had, that was really cool.
The one thing I think they should havd changed is that the song was going to be more like RAAAAR because the it was called "Scream", but it was still good.

New EXO teaser: Kai, Kris, Lay, Suho, Luhan, D.O., Tao, Xiumin & SeHun
I don't know why they just put the teaser as Kai. There are other people in the teaser. It's like saying Kai featuring a bunch of other people. EXO is gaining more and more anti's with all these trailers, SM NEEDS TO STOP IT AND DEBUT THEM ALREADY, because it's doing more harm than good. He should have known better then teaser a group for this long. Anyway here I go again with my rant.
So now all 12 memebers have for EXO have been revealed:

-Tao
-Chen
-Se Hun
-Lay
-Xiu Min
-Baek Hyun
-D.O.
-Su Ho
-Kris
-Chan Yeol
If my prediction is correct then they should be debuting soon, because there is no reason for them to release a million other teasers when all the members have been introduced.

It's becasue all these trailers are ridiculous, and as you can see whenever I post a new trailer I sometimes go into a rant especially if Kai is in it. I really don't understand why they show Kai so much. A lot of people are saying that he is the leader, but then you have to look at it, EXO is TWO different groups. I would understand if EXO was one big group and there was only one leader, but their has to be two leaders one for each group. I don't care if Kai is the supposed to be the "face" of EXO, to me that is favoritism for SM to shoe him that many times, you should give the group members equal opportunites and not overplay the leader. Like with DBSK I could have sworn that Jaejoong was the leader of the group but he wasn't Yunho was and Jaejoong was one of the two main vocalists in the group and to me it should always be that way. Don't overplay the leader. Now being the lead vocalist and the lead dancer are completely different things. They put them out in front to showcase that they have good dancers, every group has one or two amazing dancers, like in Big Bang it's Taeyang and everyone else is freaking good too.

Shinwha's Lee Min Woo gets discharged from the military
Since February 2010, Shinhwa's Lee Min Woo has served as a public service worker at Seoul Station. On March 2, he fulfilled his two-year mandatory military duty, and held an event and press conference to celebrate his honorable discharge from the army.
During the event, Lee Min Woo said, "“I only got to sleep two hours because I was looking forward to this. Right now, I feel like I’m floating in the sky. I’m tense about standing in front of the fans and the flashes from the camera for the first time in a long time."
