Despite having their Korean debut at the same time popular girl group Girls Generation also known as SNSD, the singing group seems to have a solid fanbase that seems to believe that they have the better song then Girls Generation. Although they have not won on Music Bank or Inkigayo, yet, fans still believe that it is a possibility. Comparing the 2 albums on if they have decent songs on their album besides the song that they choose to promote, it is clear that Secret has won in that competition. Most of their album is actually pretty good and it would seem that some of them could even be hits. With Girls Generation's album, The Boys, you get a couple of songs that are decent but the best song that they have is actually the song that they chose to promote which would be The Boys.
Im not saying in any way that Secret is better than Girls Generation, I am a Sone and love Girls Generation dearly, but when it comes to the quality of the album Secret won, but that doesnt mean that I wont enjoy both albums.
